As I was driving into the city today, I was listening to WMMR and heard something interesting.  Every year the national constitution center offers a Liberty Medal that comes with a $100,00 award.  Last year it was awarded to Bill Clinton and George H. W. Bush.  This year it is being awarded jointly to Bono and DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade, Africa).  I think that it is awesome that Bono is being awarded.  He doesn’t let his popularity get to his head.  I wish that I could attend the event, but I have class, and so do all of you.  The event is going to be on the constitution center’s website.  It is also going to be on the news at 7pm tonight.
